Liz B. Baker

Liz is the creator of The AI Thinking Model™, author of The AI Thinking Model: Reclaiming Critical Thinking in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (May 2026), and founder of Nimbology, an AI strategy and workforce transformation consultancy. She also founded the Global Institute for AI & Humanity, an organization dedicated to developing wiser humans in the AI era.

Her approach doesn't audit your systems for you. It trains every employee, from the C-suite to the front line, to manage and self-audit their own AI tools. The goal isn't a report Liz hands back to you. It's a workforce that can do the work itself, long after the engagement ends.

Before founding Nimbology, Liz served as Executive Director of the Working Assembly of Government Employees (WAGE) and as a Strategy Consultant for the Virginia Government Employees Association (VGEA). She authored and piloted a curriculum designed to double a nonprofit's membership in one year, and personally visited 52 churches in 52 weeks to understand how mission-driven organizations actually operate and thrive under resource constraints.

Liz is a co-founder of AI Ready RVA and leads its Women & AI Cohort, helping women in the Richmond region build fluency and confidence with AI tools. She previously served on its board as community engagement chair, and is also a former board member of Needle's Eye Faith & Work Community. She holds a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and has been a two-time finalist for the rvatech Women in Technology Awards in the Community Impact category (2025 and 2026). Her work has been featured on CBS-6's Virginia This Morning and in Christianity Today.

Liz speaks regularly on AI, human potential, executive leadership, and change management, grounded in a classical liberal respect for individual agency and balanced by a deep commitment to community and stewardship. She lives in Richmond, Virginia.
